Queen Victoria's Bow Brooch - Available In Two Sizes
£80.71
This set of bow brooches has been an enduringly popular design since the 1800s. In May 1858, the Crown Jewellers, Garrard, created a trio of bow brooches using 506 diamonds provided by Queen Victoria. The set consisted of two large brooches and one small brooch. Although there is no pictorial evidence to suggest that Queen Victoria wore them, the brooches were worn by Queen Alexandra and Queen Mary at their respective coronations. Queen Mary even wore one of the brooches with the pear-shaped Cullinan III suspended from the bottom during her coronation in 1912. The brooch set has previously been owned by Queen Elizabeth II, who frequently wore it.
