Irish Lace Earrings
Inspired by an unfinished flounce in needle lace, this exquisite range of fine jewellery has all the charm and intricacy of the highest quality lacework. The original was made in floral and neo-classical style by the Convent of the Poor Clares in Kenmare, Ireland, in 1886 and is still attached to a portion of its parchment. As one would expect of such a design, the detailing is paramount and the overall effect is at once delicate and immensely attractive. These pieces - necklaces, bangles, rings and matching earrings - have semi-precious gemstones that are delicately spun within a filigree of sterling silver.
