Delivery & Returns
Delivery of the all purchases will be arranged by the manufacturer and made direct to the customer. Most dispatches are made within 1-2 days but some items are made or "finished" to order and may take longer - we will advise you on extended delivery times should they occur.
Overseas delivery of orders for certain items may restricted (e.g. food legislation / weight / availability) and delivery of some orders placed on the site may not be possible - if this is the case we will contact you as soon as we receive your order.
The delivery costs for each item are clearly detailed in your shopping basket.so you know the costs before proceeding to order.
We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from stores using the Distinctly British Ltd site. It is our aim to offer value and quality.
If for any reason you are not totally satisfied, simply return an item in its original and unused condition to the manufacturer / supplier, please contact Distinctly British for the relevant return address, along with the wrapping within 28 days of delivery. They will exchange it or offer you a refund - unless the goods are damaged, you are responsible for the cost of the return postage. You have no right to a refund or to cancel orders for goods which have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, including your right to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which remain unaffected. You have a right to cancel your contract with the store within 14 working days from the date after which you receive the goods, except for perishables. Unless the goods have been damaged in transit to you, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for the return postage.
